Doctor Sue

Just a word about Dr. Sue Woodruff before we take you on the journey...Sue is a joy to be around. She treats out of her home because she knows that you have to be as natural as possible when you are dealing with autism on a daily basis. She knows this because she has and autistic child. she treats on the floor and follows the children around the room to whatever they are doing to make them comfortable. She knows that these kiddos spend a lot of time in doctors offices, and a lot of them are very intimidating. Not so at Doctor Sue's house. When watching and helping with treatments, I sometimes wonder if the kids are even aware of what is going on. She is flexible and patient, and she allows my boys to destory her house as well as ransack her pantry multiple times a week.Dr. Sue and her family have become dear friends to us, and we are so grateful for their openess, acceptance, and love for us and our boys.
